This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information LiveMind collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to livemind.ai, its sub-sites, the LiveMind apps (such as LiveDrive, GoChat, Canvas and Interstellar) and our mobile apps.
LiveMind is operated by LiveMind Pty Ltd (ABN 75 672 933 550), an Australian company ("LiveMind", "we", "us"). We are responsible for your personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we are the "controller" of your personal information.
Contact: hello@livemind.ai.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests (security, improving the service, measuring ads), your consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies), and legal obligations.
We do not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you based solely on automated processing.
LiveMind is built on AI models from several providers. When you use an AI feature, the content needed for that request (for example your prompt, the document or image you selected, or audio you recorded) is sent to the relevant AI model provider, which processes it and returns the result to us.
We share personal information only as needed to run LiveMind, with:
We require our service providers to use personal information only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information.
LiveMind is an Australian company, but most of our service providers are overseas. Your information is likely to be stored or processed in the United States, and may also be processed in the Netherlands, Singapore and other countries where our providers operate. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers protect your information. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
Analytics. We use analytics tools, including session replay, to see how people use LiveMind (for example, which features are used and where people get stuck) so we can fix problems and improve the product. These tools record interactions such as clicks and page views, along with device and browser information. We set them up to leave out passwords, payment details and the text you type, and we don't use this information for advertising or sell it.
Embedded content, such as YouTube videos, may set its own cookies when you view it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the essential ones are needed to log in. Where the law requires it (for example for visitors in the EU or UK), we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or analytics.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use them only to create and sign in to your LiveMind account and to show your name and picture in the app. We do not use your Google information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar or other Google data unless you connect a feature that clearly asks for it. You can remove LiveMind's access at any time in your Google Account settings.
LiveMind's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
With your permission, we may send you news, tips and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to opt out. Service emails, such as receipts and security notices, are sent regardless because they're part of running your account.
Some LiveMind features handle information about people other than you. Examples are documents you upload, and meeting assistants that join a meeting to create a recording or transcript. If you use these features, you are responsible for having the right to share that information and for telling people when they are being recorded, as required by law where you are. The people concerned can contact us to exercise their rights (section 13).
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and optional encryption of your LiveDrive content in your browser. No online service is perfectly secure. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.
Shared links: files you upload or create may be given a web link so they can be shown in pages you build or shared with others. Anyone who has that link may be able to view the file, so only share links with people you trust.
You can ask us to:
If the GDPR applies to you, you can also object to or restrict certain processing, ask us to transfer your information to you or another service, and withdraw consent at any time. If you live in California or another US state with privacy laws, you have similar rights to know, delete and correct; we do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those laws define it, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
To make any request, email hello@livemind.ai from the email address on your account. We will respond within 30 days, and we may need to verify your identity first.
LiveMind is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as LiveMind changes. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
If you have a question or complaint about privacy, email hello@livemind.ai. We will reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
